For years, I’ve shopped at The Gap, Banana Republic, JCrew and Ann Taylor/Loft. I like these stores because they have classic pieces that are both stylish AND reasonably priced. Also, every once in a while, they have something funky that I can mix into my wardrobe.
Over the years, I’d say I have been a pretty loyal customer. I am not one who likes change all that much, but when I do, it tends to be a gradual process. For example, until recently, I associated Fossil with watches…just watches. This probably stems from the fact that when I was in high school, I had a Fossil watch. But Fossil and clothes? purses? Nope.
Lately, this has changed. Every week or so I find myself typing in f – o – s – s – i – l – . – c – o – m. At first, it was because I needed a new watch, but since then I’ve been browsing through their other products. Clearly, I’m digging a few trends here: neutrals (navy, gray, white), subtle patterns, and color blocking…so delicious! Despite my infatuation, however, I have yet to make any purchases. This is mostly because I simply don’t know what the clothing is going to be like, which is why I need your feedback. Have you every bought anything from Fossil? What’s the fit like? the quality?
